My story

Hello, hello! Welcome to West Haven Design Co. I'm so glad you found your way here. I could not be more excited to share this journey with you!

A little background about me, my name is Shelby Silvers and I am from a small town just south of Des Moines, Iowa. I attended Iowa State University where I pursued my passion for Interior Design. The path I wanted to take was clear to me as I always have had a love for all things design and creating beautiful, functional spaces!

After graduating from ISU, I would spend the next 8 years in the design world learning, growing, and getting experience under my belt. As a motivated designer I made the decision to explore all avenues within this industry. During that time I was able to delve into the custom furnishing and spacing planning side of interior design. l also have spent many hours learning the in’s and out’s of remodeling and new construction. I always aim to be the best resource and guide for my clients! I feel that creating a timeless design is key and staying up with the trends makes for a perfect design. I take value in growing & learning each and every day!

Outside of my love for design, you can find me with my partner in crime -
My 10 year old Puggle, Hoosier! You can find us camping with friends and family on the summer weekends. Hoosier will never turn down a good nap, so you may also find us snuggled up on the sofa, candle lit, and reading a book.
